How to disable the Apple Password Manager?

How do I disable the Apple passwords manager in macOS, ipadOS and iOS? I don’t like the way it handles subdomains.

MacBook Pro 14″, macOS 26.2

You can turn off autofill in "Autofill & Passwords" System Settings. The setting seems to indicate there might be other choices if you have another Password Manager installed, but I have no idea.

Thanks, I see that in iOS and iPadOS, at least. I’ll have to look at macOS.

Just search the Settings for "autofill"
