Is WD Discovery fully uninstalled after moving to Trash?

I had WD Discovery on my computer, and moved it to trash. Initially it asked for a password (which I had no clue as it's been there forever), but it seems to have deleted. Then I saw that it looks like I should have done an uninstall. Is it still in the background or was it deleted?

What is "WD"? We only know what you tell us.

Some applications require you to run a proper de-installer in order to remove all the parts.

It was probably asking for your computer administrator password. Some apps require that to prevent non-administrators from deleting apps. You should know that password and it may the same as the one you use to sign into your computer regularly.

WD Discovery is software that was installed on my old computer. It helps you to manage certain WD™ products, such as My Passport™, My Book™, My Book Duo™, and My Cloud Home™ devices. it was not asking for my computer administrator password - I entered that and it didn't accept it.

Thanks for your suggestion.
