Deleting CRITICAL Imminent Threat Alert

I have an iphone17Pro with ios26.2. I received a CRITICAL Imminent Threat Alert. How do I get rid of it?

I'm guessing you have increased the text size on your phone or are using zoom to make the text larger and the text is now so large that the entire message doesn't fit on the screen, meaning you can't reach the button to dismiss it.


Force restart your phone.


press and release volume up, then volume down, then press and hold the side button until you see the apple logo.

can't take a screenshot because it's on the login page that pops up when you turn on the page. This isn't a scam or ad. It doesn't ask me to buy anything or visit any website. It's an alert from the National Weather Service to drive carefully if you must drive and be wary of blinding snow and watch out for ice. We were expecting a late night snow storm. I just need to know how to get it the warning off of my login page. Haven't figured that out yet.
