iPhone Files app 'Content Unavailable' for shared Mac folder

My iphone Files app is connected to a shared folder on my mac. Server visible under "Shared locations." Folder visible when I click on that location.

But when I click to browse files in that folder, I get "Content Unavailable … unknown error."

Mac OS 15.7.2. iOS 18.6.2
