macOS Tahoe: Want volume and brightness indicators always on a specific monitor, not last clicked

In MacOS Tahoe the volume and brightness change indicators are now at the top menu bar. And when using multiple monitors they show up on the last monitor you clicked on. These are the popups that used to be big in the middle of the screen with dots and are now small and at the top with a bar.

In past versions, there was a way in settings to make it so these indicators would always show up on the monitor you chose.

I use my laptop to host movie public art movie screenings. Knowing which screen the indicator will show up on is a very essential feature for me - I can't have a volume indicator pop up in the middle of a public event if I need to adjust the volume. Is there any way to permanently have the indicators show up on one specific monitor in Tahoe?

I realize there are other ways around this to make sure no indicators come up during a show, I just want to be sure there are no accidents.
