since the new update, every time I use the keyboard in safari, it seems to have a glass like overlay over the whole screen so you can’t enter in information? Any ideas how to stop this?

I have the same issue, been going on for a month or so now. I’ve tried disabling all safari extensions, clearing all browser data etc but nothing has worked. Installed Firefox which works fine and have set it as my default browser.

Overlaying Keyboard:
Is this on all Web sites? Or just certain Web sites? If the line is blinking in the text box, then it’s active. And being blue, that indicates that is active. Being dulled out in the screenshot, it seems to be an overlay issue in the frame of the HTML code.
Otherwise, you might need to accept Terms & Conditions or pay to move on, which is commonly seen on subscription sites such as those for newspapers.
