How do I cancel an alarm on iPhone after swiping the snooze countdown in iOS 26.1?

Yesterday, after hitting snooze on my Apple Watch, I swiped the snooze countdown displaying on my iPhone lock screen by to the left. This action used to cancel my alarm before I updated to 26.1. Believing the alarm was off, I took a shower. While I was showering the alarm went off and got louder and louder before I finally noticed and turned it off. This annoyed my neighbors (apartment complex). I am very frustrated and to be honest I do not need or want any follow-up or explanations. I just don't want a huge change to functionality with no warning like this. This morning I confirmed that swiping the snooze countdown to the left does nothing, the alarm is still scheduled to go off in +9 minutes.

Meanwhile, try "Siri, turn off the alarm" or something similar.

Thanks, unfortunately a moderator re-titled my post in a way that makes my situation unclear. I don't actually need any answers. In my case what I was actually trying to do was cancel a snooze that I initiated on purpose, which used to allow me to easily turn off the Sleep alarm at the same time. Now that I know the feature no longer works that way, the most efficient solution in my case is to turn off Sleep focus, which automatically gives me a prompt to turn off the alarm. It's just frustrating that they changed this with no warning, leading to a progressively louder alarm going off that annoyed my neighbors.

Pity. We could have been helping people who needed it.
