How to reset trusted computers on iPhone?

I cannot reset trusted computers on my iPhone 16 pro max.

I have set the option "Ask when the accessory is new".

After following the procedure:

1. Go to Settings, then tap General.

2. Tap Transfer or Reset [Device].

3. Tap Reset, then tap Reset Location & Privacy.

the phone still does not ask when I connect it to the MacBook.

Both iPhone and MacBook have iOS 26.2 and macOS 26.2.

What is worst, MacBook does not see iPhone after connecting using the original iPhone cable that's why I tried to reset trusted computers but no luck.

Does anyone know how to fix that?
