iPhone 17 Pro back Glass misalignment

Hi,

I purchased an iPhone 17 Pro, and the rear glass panel is visibly misaligned.

The device is brand new, never dropped or modified, and this issue was present out of the box.

This appears to be a factory assembly defect rather than a cosmetic issue. Has anyone else experienced this, and is it usually eligible for replacement?

Thank you!

This is two photos stitched together. Post one photo clearly showing the problem.

If you're trying to tell us this is a single photo of a phone with no manipulation, I call shenanigans.

Yes, it's clearly two photos merged together. It would be physically impossible the phone looks like that in the box. Not possible at all. And if they don't come back and post a real singular photo, I'll ask for this post to be removed.

Ps: I just did

Apparently I misunderstood. I always assumed there were two separate photos and the issue was in the difference in these two spaces (shown by the arrows).

My esteemed colleagues raise a valid point, and it’s especially noteworthy since there has been no clarification given on your part.

What you've pointed to is the power button which is exactly where it should be on an iPhone 17 Pro.

Yes … I didn’t mean to point to anything. I meant the difference in the two arrow lengths - the amount of metal that displays from the edge of the iPhone to the rear glass panel.

My eyes don't see anything wrong with the phone. Also, they suggest the rear glass panel is misaligned. The glass panel is the whitish square in the center of the back of the phone.
