iPhone 16+ stops Sirius Radio for texts

Iphone 16+ overrides Sirius Radio in Auto when I open it to read a text message? (Only when stopped- not moving auto). I would like it not to stop the radio from playing my radio and overriding it... Thanks in advance.. Hope all have a happy and healthy holiday season....
