I fully erased my iPhone 11 Pro Max to the Hello screen but somehow did not get removed from my account. I had to remove the iPhone manually from my account on my Mac Pro. Has that happened to anyone else? Thanks

Erasing will not remove the activation lock and will still show on the account. If it is still showing on your FindMy app, try to remove it from there. It might say that it will be removed at a later date which is a normal behaviour. You are still good to sell it or hand it over to someone to use once you hit remove.

It was not in FindMy app, but I didn't look at that app prior to removing the iPhone 11 from my account. It was a little scary as I had already sent it off as a trade in. I'm glad I discovered the iPhone 11 in my account today and removed it. "Erase all content and settings" has always removed my devices from my account before. From now on I'll check my account before transferring a device. Thanks for the input. I feel better now.
