Lag when deleted recent app IOS 26.2

Couldn't really tell from your video the swipe movement, but if the speed and distance of the gesture is not recognized as a Swipe, it will just be the Move gesture and that will snap back the app when you let go, like it appears to do in your video.

Is it possible you made some adjustments to the Swipe Gesture at Settings > Accessibility > Touch > Touch Accommodations? If it is turned On, try shutting it Off so the default options will be used.

You are in low power mode and that reduces the frame rate and visual effects that you normally see. While I very rarely force close an app because it requires more battery power to launch it again, I did just now and there was no lag for me using iOS 26.2.

latest Ios (26.2) iphone 17 pm - definitely noticing a significant lag when closing apps when swiping to close even after powering off phone for a little bit. Prior to the latest update: no issue. Issue continues despite cellular/wifi connection and location. Weird lol

I have been having the same issue! I have the iPhone 17 Pro Max with 100% battery life and no power saving mode activated. 120Hz refresh rate activated and phone fully charged. Started to happen after the last IOS 26.2 update. Please resolve the issue as soon as possible.
