Translation:
Why does the model number start with M, and the serial number with F?
I also purchased an iPhone 16 Pro Max on December 2, 2025, but my activation date is August 18th. However, the warranty expires on December 1st. Why is this happening?

A model number beginning with M, means it was a new phone at the time of purchase. The serial number is meaningless as Apple moved to randomized serial numbers a few years ago.
iPhone warranty is 365 days from the date the phone left Apple or an Apple Authorized Seller inventory. Activation date means nothing. If you didn't activate the phone for months, that wouldn't start the warranty on the date of activation. So your warranty expires exactly 365 days from the date of purchase as it is supposed to do. This means your phone is no longer under warranty.
