Unable to control Sirius XM volume through Airplay from iPhone to Apple TV

I have an Apple TV hooked to a receiver, and I airplay music from my iPhone 15 Pro through the Apple TV, and am able to control the volume using the buttons on the iPhone. This process still works for Apple Music. However, when I try to Airplay Sirius XM from the iPhone to the Apple TV, it only comes out at full volume, and I'm unable to lower the volume with the iPhone buttons. I have two Apple TVs with the same issue, which seemed to start just yesterday. I have other devices (HomePod, for example), and I'm able to airplay and control volume just fine. I've made sure all my software is up to date, and have reset/ restarted everything, with no luck. Any suggestions?

SiriusXM’s iOS app currently sends AirPlay audio to Apple TV at full volume and ignores iPhone volume controls. Apple Music works because it uses a different AirPlay volume model. This started recently and affects multiple Apple TVs, confirming it’s an app-side issue. The only real fixes right now are controlling volume via the receiver/Apple TV or using the SiriusXM app directly on Apple TV until SiriusXM updates their app.
