Ipad pro 13 M5 broken down after 2 weeks!! Thought’s?

I bought an ipad pro M5 13 inch on November 29, 2025. As every enthusiasm I started installing final-cut pro, Davinci resolve applications and it was giving good performance but at time giving weird ones too. There was an instance when it went off while using the ipad and I had to use the force restart option to bring it back UP. Yesterday ( on 9th of Dec, 2025) at 40% charge it went off and doesn’t even care to turn UP even after multiple attempts. It’s just 2 weeks of owning this product and my experience from an Apple product like this expensive was unexpected. It’s currently hospitalised in a service center and they are saying a week to get back. Since I had Apple care while purchasing this ipad (which I still thank myself for that decision) am still concerned. Shouldn’t I be getting a new ipad with no questions asked as it’s just 2weeks of owning a flagship ipad pro? What is the credibility for Apple products if this can happen to such an expensive product? Is Apple going down on product quality or is this a one in a millionth of a fault? The reason I continue with Apple ecosystem is the software and to own the very best of the best! But, is the best of the best required? This incident has shifted my thoughts to never spend such money again on an expensive product but with product like ipad mini would be worth the risk. What do you think?

In most countries/regions, if purchased directly from Apple, you have up to 14-days from initial purchase within which you may unconditionally return an undamaged or unwanted device for exchange or refund. Upon expiry of the 14-days, the opportunity to return the item for exchange or refund is lost. This period may occasionally be extended during holiday periods, such as the run-up to Christmas, when the return period my be extended to the New Year.

Defects that are reported after the unconditional return period will be remediated by Apple under their standard warranty terms - which usually reserve the right to exchange a defective iPad. The service-replacement will be indistinguishable from a new boxed item.

For practical purposes, in lieu of repairing and returning your own iPad, Apple usually exchange the iPad for a renewed/refurbished iPad of the same model and specification. The cost of the exchange, if applicable, is the same as would otherwise be charged for repair.

In some countries, local legislation may offer additional rights to remedy.
