After updating to Tahoe, people cant hear me when i receive calls and FaceTime calls on my macbook 2019 16". however 3rd party apps like whatsapp calls, zoom, and google meet is just fine.
I really need a solution that doesn't require reinstalling macOS.

If FaceTime isn't working on your Mac
I've tried all of this and it doesn't work.
Remember that your camera and microphone are considered PRIVATE, and use by any Application requires explicit authorization.
Settings > privacy & security > Microphone ...
... and slide the slider next to any software you DO want to have access to your private microphone data.
