Magic mouse 2 not working after exposure to water

I have a magic mouse 2 with a lightening connector, it is not charging or connecting to the computer without the cable. It worked before I got water in it by mistake because the drink bottle had an issue and all the water got inside all of my devices but now the magic mouse 2 is not working or anything. no response even if it is plugged into the computer.

MacBook Air 13″, macOS 26.1

Sorry, but chances are that the water entered into the mouse and has damaged it. If your other affected devices are also from Apple, I strongly suggest that you do, at least, the following two things:

Remove the from power / turn them off. Continued use of these devices may cause further damage. Don't be fooled to believe that placing them in rice (or similar) will remove all traces of water / debris.
Contact Apple Support directly for your next steps.

most electonic defices stop working after eexposure to water, suppose the warrenty list of them usually list water being a no go.
