AirPods Pro (1st Gen) crackling after 6F21 update

Hello everyone,

I’m experiencing a serious audio issue with my AirPods Pro (1st Generation) after updating to firmware 6F21. Since this update, I am getting a crackling/static noise in both Noise Cancellation (ANC) and Transparency mode. The noise becomes more noticeable when I move my head, walk, or use them in quiet environments.

Here’s what I have already tried:

• Resetting and re-pairing the AirPods
• Cleaning the microphones and ear tips
• Running the Ear Tip Fit Test
• Switching between Noise Control modes
• Testing on multiple devices
• Checking for firmware reinstallation opportunities

Despite all this, the issue continues in both ANC and Transparency modes. Only the “Off” mode works normally without noise.

I am aware that AirPods Pro 1 units have had known hardware issues related to ANC microphones. However, I’m not sure if this sudden problem after the 6F21 update is firmware-related or another case of the known hardware defect.

Is anyone else experiencing crackling/static noise in both ANC and Transparency modes after the 6F21 update? Any guidance from the community or moderators would be appreciates
