Music App songs quiet on M4 MacBook Air

I just got a new M4 MacBook Air and transferred my old iTunes (Music App) library from my old MacBook Pro. The volume of the songs are all weirdly quiet even at max volume compared to the volume levels on YouTube and other safari sites on my laptop. I tried using soundcheck or the volume adjusters in the "get info" menu but nothing changes at all. Is there a remedy for this? It's also not limited to my imported music (which is from my cd collection) vs bought and downloaded iTunes songs, it's my entire library regardless of where and when I got the song. Im running Tahoe 26.1, Music 1.6.1.44
