Unable to print from MS Word after macOS 26 update

• First try just a simple restart of the Mac.
• If no luck there, then Reset the Printing System.

This will remove the printers from your computer so you will need to add them back again.

Hmm, when I attempt to print from Word for the first time, I have no issue selecting File > Print. The first thing that opens up is a dialog box asking for my permission to "Allow Microsoft Word" to find devices on local network". Regardless of whether I approve it or not, the box closes and I an then presented with what I expected, the printer dialog box. From there I can choose my printer and successfully print to it.

Are you saying that you don't see either of these with Word on your Mac?

Do other apps print OK like Excel or pages documents?

More info please. What do you see? Error message or no print menu or something else?

FWIW, I am not having any issues printing from Microsoft Word from either of my Macs that are running macOS Tahoe 26.1. I too am running the latest version of Word. In my case I am printing to an HP printer over Wi-Fi.

That doesn’t really help. What doesn’t work? Does the print dialog box not open? Does clicking Print do nothing? Is there an error message?

I’m on 26.1 and the latest version of MS365 Word, and printing wirelessly to an HP OfficeJet Pro 8740 works fine as always, as does scanning.
