Apple ID email change not reflecting in the sign-in dialogue box on my MacBook
Using my MBP I have just edited my account details to change my email account. In the process it asked for a new password, but it reported an error, so I couldn't apply a new password to the new email address. I managed to change the password (but can't remember how, after trying a few things).
Looking at my account details on my iPhone it shows the new email address under Sign-In & Security, so it appears the new email address has registered and been proliferated out to my phone. As this is a one access for all sign in, I thought this would work for all access requirements.
However, when I try to sign into my Apple account on the MBP, using Safari to access account.apple.com, the dialogue box brings up the old email address. I have to click the sign on with a different account link to use the new email address. Shouldn't the new one be sed by this dialogue box?
Also, when trying to add Apple Music as a service to Sonos, it says it doesn't recognise the email and/or password. Shouldn't Apple Music be updated as well? Or does that take ages to happen?
It's very frustrating.
Thanks
Steve
