How to recover lost Gmail emails on Apple Mail?
I lost my email messages on Gmail (apple icon). Can I delete the first acct and download it again to recover them?

You have to remove the email account from Mail and add it back in. This will repopulate the folders that are on a IMAP server and download everything that is on the server to your Mac. Depending on how many emails you have saved it could take quite awhile if you have thousands of them.
