How To Print in Mail App?

In our household we have an iPhone 16e using iOS 26.1, an iPad Mini using iOS 18.7.2 (soon to be updated to iOS 26.1), and an iPad Gen 9 using iOS 26.1. In each case we discovered that when we wanted to print, we couldn’t find the Share icon that used to be at the top of the screen, and through which one could find Print. Online searches indicated that others were also having this issue.

I eventually discovered what’s changed, but it would have been helpful if I had known it is succinctly stated in Print an email or attachment in Mail on iPad – Apple Support (AU)

I don’t know if lowly level 1 members are allowed to post information—rather than ask questions, but I would have been grateful to have this information, rather than eventually working it out after several hours of frustration.
