Apple Music: playlist in album view, plays always and only track nr 1.

Apple Music

I only use Apple Music with local stored files. Working with playlists worked wel for me until last macos updates (26 and up)

Now when I select an album in a playlist with albumview and then dubbleclick in anynumber but 1, it starts playing number 1. Anytime!!

Then returning to Album overview in the playlist with "<", The playlist doesn't show any album anymore.

Then selecting "only favorites" and immediatly "all albums", The albums show again.

In numberview (or songview) the problem doesn't exist.

Any hint??

I have a similar issue. When I click on the play button on any album all it does it stop whatever it's playing and then nothing. Also when I go into an album in the playlist to see the tracks and then click on the back button to see the list of albums again, they disappear and the playlist appears empty.

As you say, changing the view to playlist or songs solves this. However, I like to see and listen to full albums. I know this way of viewing albums is not even available on the iOS version of Apple Music at all (it should be!) and I use the wonderful Marvis app to get round that problem.

Apple really ought to do a better job of supporting Apple Music on Mac. It's my primary way of listening to music at home as I have a nice pair of speakers connected to my Mac mini :-(
