Does the Apple Watch actually report odd heart beats in Canada or does it just register poor recording when it happens to the person?

I had purchased the AppleWatch 2007. Got it for the ECG. I have heard how to use it, what to do if not working like repeating the 30 seconds it sometimes does and poor recordings; etc. etc.

It’s works when my heart rate feels normal all the time. Has and does. When using it when having skips and beats, high and low drops of BPM -it does the repeat or it reports poor recording - I am just as still and hold the device just the same as when heart rate feels normal.

Does Apple Watch really record off type heart beats, skips, high and low BPM in Canada in an ecg? Or does it appear as in mine to say poor recording every time those experience these things happening and the watch just reports poor recording? But works when heart feels normal?

What’s really happening

  • Apple Watch can detect abnormal rhythms in Canada,
  • but only AFib is officially supported,
  • So when other irregular beats happen (skips, PVCs, PACs), it often shows “Poor Recording.”

⭐ Most effective fixes

  1. Tighten the strap + warm your hands
  2. Hold completely still + minimize finger pressure
  3. Take multiple ECGs back to back
  4. Try different wrist angles
  5. Use Heart Rate and irregular rhythm notifications as backup

⭐ If poor recordings happen often

  1. Export your ECGs to a doctor (PDF)
  2. Consider a medical-grade wearable (AliveCor Kardia Mobile 6-lead)
