iMessages and Contacts not syncing between iPhone and Mac

iMessages between iPhone 14 Pro (26.1) and MacBook Pro M1 (26.1) are not syncing up. If I add a new contact on my phone, it does not add to MBP. Contacts that have been on my phone, some just show the number on my computer. My wife's picture doesn't show up on my computer but it does on my phone. Same thing with other contacts. If someone texts me, it doesn't show up on my computer, even though I have the correct settings set. Even when I have to do a security code for a website or an app, it sends to my phone and not computer.

I have signed out and back in of iCloud on both devices.

I have checked all settings.

Not sure what I am missing.
