Mac mini screen jumps when playing sound

My screen has been jumping or moving when I play any sound. I thought it might the screen speakers but it does it even when I use headphones wired or bluetooth. Anyone know why? I tried attaching a small video but Apple does not allow it. I'm on Tahoe 26.1 on MAcmini M2 Pro maxed out

Your Mac mini’s screen jumps during audio playback due to GPU + Core Audio redraw timing glitches, sometimes exacerbated by external monitors, scaling, or high refresh rates. To fix:

  1. Reset NVRAM/PRAM
  2. Restart Core Audio (sudo killall coreaudiod)
  3. Use native resolution / 60 Hz refresh
  4. Test different cables / ports
  5. Toggle ProMotion / automatic graphics
  6. Update macOS to latest minor version

Restart in Safe Mode.

This will perform a Disk Repair, clear cache files and only load Apple Software, extensions and fonts. The boot up will be slow and can take some time.

Safe Mode will also eliminate Third Party Software, extensions and drivers from loading.

It will only load the Minimum amount of Core Apple Processes to allow the the computer to function at a reduced Level of Performance

Does the issue present in this mode ?

There is insufficient context and technical information details to understand what is meant by " My screen has been jumping or moving "

When I play any audio. either from youtube or a file on my drive any window I have open. My hard drive, a folder window or Safari the audio will cause the browser the hard drive or folder open will start flickering. meaning if I look at the Safari's window as the audio plays you can see it vibrates to the audio with every word. In sync with the audio. if i look at text on Safari or the open window of the hard drive you can se the text vibrating with the audio and even the folder icons on the side of the open folder or hard drive. Like I said i recorded a video but aple doesn't allow me to attach it. Think of it like I have an audio file playing in the background and I have safari open. As the audio plays the text on the screen and icons are vibrating with the audio. it's not the speakers or cables because it happens even with headphones on. That is the issue.

Can the Author ( you ) of this reply explain

1 - Apple " MAcmini M2 Pro " How does a person do a NVRAM / PRAM reset since Apple clearly mentions elsewhere this Does Not Apply to Apple Silicon Computers

2 - As the user has already clearly mentioned the computer is running Tahoe 26.1. Unless there has been another update, there are no new updates to be had
