Third party emails are configured, iPhone doesn't pull down the mails

- When you set up your new phone, did you restore from a backup or transfer data from another device?
- Some email providers use Authentication where the device will first need to be authenticated with them before you will receive email. Gmail is one provider where you need authenticate the new device.
- Do you see an error message on the bottom of the email app where you should be seeing your emails?
Some Notes recognizes face, others ask for passcode
There is a separate Face ID Setting for Notes that are stored in iCloud and also on your device. Go to Settings > Apps > Notes > Password. Do you have Face ID turned on for all accounts listed there.
yes I had to login to my iCloud account and the first DL didnt happen at Apple Store since the net was slow, it got interrupted and resumed back at home, but why should that disrupt?
Not sure I understand. When setting up the phone from a backup or transferring for another device, only a link of the apps are transferred and the actual App is downloaded from the App Store after setup when you have a stable internet connection.
