How to switch iPhone Mirroring app from iPhone 13 to iPhone 16e on MacBook Pro?

Hello Apple Community. I am currently experiencing a problem with my MacBook Pro and iPhone 16e, which is related to the iPhone Mirroring app.

I recently switched to the iPhone 16e from an iPhone 13, which is connected to my MacBook Pro's iPhone Mirroring app via Bluetooth. However, when I reset the app and try to connect my 16e to my Mac, I encounter an issue. It still only wants my 13, and there seems to be no way to stop it from wanting my 13 and connect to my 16e instead.

If anyone can help with this issue, that would be great.
