CMD + L shortcut behavior changed in Music app

Why doesn't CMD + L work when you are in the playlist the music is playing from? Eg. If I am in ALBUM A and I press CMD + L it takes me to the top of the ALBUM A not the track itself. But say I am in ALBUM B and I hit CMD + L, it will take me to the song playing in ALBUM A.

Before it didn't matter where I was, if I hit CMD + L, it would locate the track playing and highlight it.
