No. You cannot FaceTime your own device, since it would be tantamount to calling yourself.
The iPad can receive FaceTime calls to your Apple Account though, but not from your iPhone.
You can either change the Apple Account for FaceTime on the iPad to something else, or call him on your landline, because, you do have a landline right?
ipad don’t have numbers. You can FaceTime between devices but one will need to be logged into a different account (you cannot call yourself).
