Apple Watch series 9 after updating to WatchOS 26.1 is facing backlight issues. Is anyone facing this problem? Looks like the ambient light sensor is not working correctly. It gets very dim during daytime outside and gets very bright indoors.

Did you already force restart your watch after the latest update?
If this does not work, and to rule out a software issue, erase the watch and pair it again, setting it up as a new device. You will only lose your created Watch faces and may have to activate the cards in your Wallet app again.
Then test it again.
