ME: M4 Mac Mini, 16GB, OS 15.6.1 (24G90).
If I understand the replies regarding this subject dating to Sept. 2024 Apple was to fix this issue with updates.
I suspect there have been many updates to the OS since 2024. Nonetheless, as of Nov. 2025 I am faced with this same issues.
Is there a fix?

For bug fixes, update to the latest Sequoia 15.7.2 version.

Or... optionally upgrade to Tahoe 26.

To update Sequoia instead of upgrading to Tahoe, click "More" updates on the Software Update panel.
