Series 9 watch not registering workouts

Hello all, I have the series 9 watch and the new iPhone 17. My watch with the lastest iOS update has taken over a hour to register. What I mean is, when I take my watch off the charger, put it on to start a workout it’s like it’s frozen and it has all zeros. A hour or so later, it will then begin to regain my activity. I can get messages but nothing regarding my workouts. I’ve powered off my watch and my phone. Checked my settings and still nothing and this has been going on for 3 days now. HELP! Is anyone else having this problem?
