M4 Pro Mac mini not granting permission for external webcam

I have a Mac mini (M4 Pro) and I have a Elgato Facecam. It works when using apps like FaceTime, but when I go to use it in streamyard, the camera does not have access and the usual permission prompt never shows up and I am unable to add any permissions in the system settings. I've contacted Apple about it but they didn't have any clue how to fix it. Any ideas on getting the system to grant permission to the camera so I can use it for apps other than FaceTime? I've used multiple browsers and all have the same issue.
