iOS 26 Photos app glitch: Custom album order not retained

So I recently upgraded my XS Max to 17 Pro Max. I personally enjoy the iOS 26 minus a few bugs and most of them are regarding the photos apps. I don’t like opening my custom albums and it starts at the top and not the bottom like it used to. I don’t like having to filter it showing the most recent at the top unless I leave it as is and scroll all the way to the bottom.

Anyway on to my main issue. One of my photo albums I have customized in a certain order when looking for certain pics and vids. I was clicking on the filters and it’s now showing my custom order as the newest saved filter and not how I have it originally customized. I tried closing and refreshing the app. I restarted my phone and still nothing. I did sign into iCloud and thankfully the album is how I originally have it set up but not the actual photos app.

I do see there’s a new iOS update. Will this resolve my issue. Any insight on this and if anyone else has experienced the same thing it would be greatly appreciated.
