How may I retrieve some deleted text messages and or files or photographs

Basically, my daughter with autism was allowed access to my phone to use some learning apps or she had access to my files in my pictures and I I would let her kind of look like hang out on the phone while I was driving or whatever and I went to my pictures when day and I realized the bunch of a bunch of pictures were deleted they were in that like I recently deleted file and I don’t know how long she’d been doing it for two because I have a lot of photographs in my iCloud so i’m hope I would like to retrieve those photographs if I get anything she’s deleted I just say it sucks cause she was deleting her baby pictures. Also text messages she’s been deleting text, messages, files, voice memos, all kinds of stuff and I didn’t really realize it was going on until recently so anything you can do to help me out I would really appreciate.

iPhone 11, iOS 16

Sounds like you were able to find the photos still in the password protected 'Recently Deleted' folder which is good- simply recover them by selecting and recovering the photos you want, which should take them out of Recently Deleted in iCloud too. You can check Recently Deleted in iCloud Photos online as well. For the messages, tap Filters in the top left corner, then Recently Deleted and check if they're there. Files and voice memos do have their own recently deleted section, but it's not password protected like Photos are. I'm afraid anything deleted from recently deleted is gone permanently.

If you're missing anything important and have a regular backup, you could restore your phone from it, however you would lose anything on the device added or removed between the time of the backup and now. I would highly recommend saving important files/photos in more than one location just in case.
