I forgot my Mac password pass and my Apple ID one because I used to use finger print and now my account is locked since yesterday, Apple gave me 1 day to reset the password and when I tried to see if I can reset it they give me 6 days and I need to use my MAC laptop urgently how can I reset my Apple ID so that I can use my laptop as usual?Thank you
Never post your email and/or phone number. You just open yourself up to a phishing attempt by someone claiming to be Apple.
Follow the steps here for your Mac Login Password. Touch ID to login is not a replacement for that password and is still required that you enter it anytime the Mac is restarted or at least once a week.
