Locating Apple Mail app on MacBook and syncing folders across devices

I currently use outlook on my map but the apple mail app on my iPhone. I want to start using the mail app on the map so that I can synch folders etc across both devices and not have to do everything twice with all emails I want to file/keep etc. however I cant seem to find the mail app on my new map. on my older Touch Bar Mbp I could select launchpad from the Touch Bar and find mail and add it to the docket I obviously now don't have the Touch Bar. I can see that the f3 key opens mission control but can any one help with how to get launchpad so I can find the standard apple mail app. if anyone has any tips for setting up mail on both/all(iPad Pro as well) devices so I can do something to emails and it does the same to all emails across all devices?

I am not sure what "map" you are referring to. Are you misspelling Mac?

On a iPad pull down on the screen to expose the Searchbar and type in Mail.

You could use Outlook on your iPad as well, but if you prefer Mail so be it.

On a Mac, it should be in the Application Folder in Finder or you could use Spotlight. Look in the Menu bar for the icon that looks like a Magnifying Glass . A searchbar such as the one below show appear after clicking on the Magnifying Glass icon. Type in Mail or click on the circle with the "A" in it and it should reveal all your Applications.

I gather from your response you prefer to use outlook.i've tried downloading outlook to my iPhone but I'm having problems adding my email account as it keeps defaulting to an old organisational email I used ages ago and I cant seem to overtype my current personal email address. I haven't tried on my iPad yet. any tips if you are getting on with outlook ok would be greatly appreciated. many thanks

thank you for your advice. yes, that was a misspell or auto correct. it should have read map-macbook pro!
