Mac Studio folders closing randomly despite identical settings

A colleague of mine got a new Mac Studio the other week and I got a Macbook Pro at roughly the same time.

We are both running MacOS 15.7.1 and we both connect to the same servers and have the same folders open on our desktops. At first my Macbook would randomly close the folders I had open, but after changing some settings in the Battery section, my Macbook is no longer closing the folders I have open. My colleague on the other hand can open the folders and within five minutes they are closed. He re-open the folders and all of a sudden they are closed again. We have compared the network and energy saving settings, but since they are not the same for a Macbook and a Mac Studio they are not the same. Does anyone have any ideas on how to solve this issue?
