Mail widget not updating properly (iOS26)

Hi everyone,

I’ve added the Mail widget to my Home Screen, but it doesn’t refresh like the Mail app itself. It keeps showing old emails.

I use two accounts iCloud and Gmail. My iCloud account is set to Push and Gmail to Fetch automatically.

I also tried to check “Background App Refresh” in Settings > General, but Mail doesn’t appear in the list, so I can’t enable or disable it there.

Does anyone know how to make the Mail widget update correctly?
