Unable to burn onto the portable Disc drive

I have a super slim drive-USB3.0 DVD portable drive, using it on my Imac apple M1 Sequoia version 15.6.1. The problem I am having is burning my photos and videos on the disc I get the message(error code 0xFFFFFFFF80020022).What can I do to burn or do I need to buy an updated portable disc drive? I am able to play dics with items already on it. I just cannot burn . What to do??? I have had this disc for a while and I have burned items on disc in the past.
