Unintended creation of a Quick Note after sending a text message

I sent a text and later after checking my phone there was a little box with the green message icon on it. I clicked that and it took me to a quick note but whenever I clicked it again, it took me back to the text message. Did I make this on accident or did the person I text make this? I’m so confused and what is the point of this feature? I blacked out the name for privacy privacy purposes.
