802.1X authentication with user/pass on password change

We have a working setup with Okta+Radius+MerakiWiFi and 802.1X user/password authentication.

The problem comes when an user changes his password and thus the Radius is asking for another password but Mac has saved WiFi credentials in keychain. And Mac sends old credentials.

We do use MDM.

I can not find a lot of info how to fix our problem. Can more experienced Mac users give a hint?

I also do not know - can I ask directly Apple for help and how

As a workaround I've found a CLI command to forget specific credentials in keychain however I am looking for a solution by design, not a workaround :).

In these circumstances, the solution is to open Passwords (or Keychain Access), search for and delete the saved password; then on next attempt to connect your mac will ask for the password (as it has none saved), and you can enter it and save for future use.
