I have been using an iPod Nano 3rd generation for music while walking everyday. I transfer the music from iTunes on a Windows 11 PC. I cannot charge the Nano--I think the battery just died. Is the procedure for transferring music from iTunes to an iPod Touch (4th generation) which I also own the same as process as it is for the Nano?

Some wall chargers may not regulate their power output as well as they should do, so the Nano won't attempt to recharge. Official Apple chargers from that era ought to work, as will standard USB ports on a computer.

Thanks Phil0124. As it turns out I could still charge the Nano via a USB connection directly to my PC, but for some reason the connection to a wall charger doesn't work anymore. I have seen other users report online the same problem with vintage Apple devices and found that a direct USB connection is the solution.
