Contacts app keeps crashing and shows names without numbers

Hi everyone,

I’ve been dealing with this issue on my iPhone for quite a long time, and I still can’t fix it. I even contacted Apple Support — they gave me several troubleshooting steps, and I followed them all carefully, but the issue still persists.

Here’s what’s happening:

• All my contacts appear in the list, but when I tap on any contact, the phone number is missing.

• After a few seconds, the Contacts app (or Phone app) crashes automatically.

• I tried everything: restarting the iPhone, signing out and back into iCloud, toggling Contacts sync, resetting settings, and even restoring from backup — nothing worked.

• I have more than 600 contacts, and I really need them.
• 
  
• 
  
• Even when I try to manually add a number to a contact, it saves only the name (without the number), and then the app crashes again after a few seconds.

Has anyone else experienced this issue or found a working solution? I’d really appreciate any help 🙏
