I currently have Mac OS Sonoma 14.6 on a Mac Mini with M2 Pro chip. I've read that I should update my Mac OS for security purposes. I run a business from my computer and need to make sure the OS is compatible with Office for Mac version 16.102.1 so I don't have any issues. Appreciate your help!
Office 365 is compatible with the current macOS version and the 2 previous versions. In other words, it's compatible with Sonoma, the follow-up Sequoia and the current macOS Tahoe.
Same applies for Office 365 for Business, Education and government use.
Consider using the free, open source LibreOffice app. It can open edit and save MS Office files to MS Office format or its own format.
It's free so give it a try. It can be a considerable savings of the subscription rates for Office 365.
