Apple Intelligence and private encrypted apps like KYMS

I’ve just upgraded to an iPhone 17 from an iPhone 12.

Obviously my old phone didn’t have apple intelligence. I haven’t turned it on yet on the new phone.

My question is, can it scan documents, photos, videos etc stored in a supposedly secure app like KYMS?

Note: Please be VERY VERY careful to make sure anything stored in apps like this are backed up or stored somewhere else.

Apps like this have a nasty habit of being abandoned by the developers, resulting in complete loss of any data stored in them.
