iOS 26 iMessage search not showing names in other chats

After updating to iOS 26, when I search someone’s name in iMessage, it only shows the conversation with that person. It no longer shows other messages where their name is mentioned in different chats. Searching normal words (like “hello”) works fine — it’s only names that stopped appearing in search results. I’ve tried toggling Siri & Search settings, restarting, and updating, but the issue remains.
