Find my mac on from the system but not showing in icloud , iphone mirroring not working as well

I recently bought an iPhone 17 Pro but I can’t get iPhone Mirroring to work with my Mac (macOS Tahoe 26.0.1).

Also despite been granting all permissions for find my - find my mac is showing off in icloud

I’ve already:

  • Granted all location and Find My permissions.
  • Noticed that Find My Mac still shows as “Off” in iCloud, even though it’s enabled.
  • Signed out/in of Apple ID, restarted, and repeated the process.
  • Deleted the com.apple.findmy.findmylocateagent.plist file.
  • Tested with iPhone hotspot and regular Wi-Fi.
  • Confirmed Bluetooth is on and both devices use the same Apple ID.

Problems:

  • The iPhone change option doesn’t appear in Dock settings.
  • The Mirroring option doesn’t show on iPhone under AirPlay & Continuity.
  • So far nothing resolves the issue.

MacBook Air 13″, macOS 26.0
